Jim is a fellow graduate from Louisiana State University and completed law school at Mississippi College School of Law in 1998. He is originally from New Roads and currently lives there with his family. When Jim is out of the office, he enjoys hunting, fishing and a good round of golf. He and his wife, Kristian, have 4 children, one attending LSU and is a reservist of the United States Marine Corp. Their other 3 children attend Catholic High of Point Coupee.
